Canon PGI-255XXL High Yield Ink Cartridge - Compatible with MX922 & MX722 Printers - Perfect for Home Office Printing, School Projects, and Small Business Documents

I purchased a tank of this stuff for my printer before Christmas and installed it in January before printing worksheets for my college classes. I used up enough of that cartridge so that I had to install a new one in late July to print up a Power Point note pages for a summer class project. I print stuff each month though sometimes not every week. I am more than satisfied with how long these XXL cartridges last. I did find that even when my printer started wanting more I just clicked ignore and kept printing for a full month until the print quality started to get streaky and weak. THEN I relented to replace the cartridge so my advice, buy this but don't replace it too quickly when your printer starts warning you that it is getting low. Replace it when you no longer like the print quality to get you full money's worth!Best price for volume.Good quality ink. I installs quickly and easily.The Canon inks for their printers are the only ones that I have found that do not clog the print heads and consistently provide great color. I have tried several other manufacturers' inks and have had no luck, so Canon inks are what I will continue to use.Don't know if ink is full. Ink box had been smashed and then taped shut on sides. Shipping bag ok.Follow up Review: DO NOT BUY!!!!! THIS CARTRIDGE HAS RUINED MY PIXMA MX 922 Printer. It will cost me $20 to discuss it with Canon because printer is over one year old. Since this "incorrect printer head" error (same one that was always in there, has now completely shut down my printer, I am also out 4 new color cartridges and an XL cartridge I replaced this with to try to fix it. Now am running out to pick up an emergency replacement for son's calculus test today. YOU CAN BE CERTAIN, I WILL NOT BE BUYING A CANON PRINTER! This cartridge will be returned (sorry Amazon- it's not your fault.)I was excited about this cartridge. I am burned out from buying expensive Canon cartridges. This seemed like a solution. It is easy enough to install in the printer, but after printing a few pages it errors out and you have to cancel your print. The website chat bot gives good instructions to reseat the cartridge, but that does not prevent it from happening again after a few more pages. What good is a big ink cartridge if you can't print with it? Very dissappointed!I dislike the high price of the ink. I spend several hundred dollars for ink every year.this XXL size is a good value if you print a lot, and they ship out fast too. just follow the instruction, it will be easy to install with no problem.1/3 of the ink was for a different type of printer. I really needed the PGK or whatever it is vs the single ink ones. All of the ones I needed were not for the printer I. Have. The single ones were and the box said the right printer # but the wrong items were put in the box. A big fat waste of money. Attention to detail people......Ink for printers is expensive.
