Brother DR500 Compatible Drum - For HL/DCP/MFC Printers - Home & Office Use

This DR500 Compatible Drum for Brother HL-5040 is working flawlessly. The first few printouts had some longitudinal streaks and slight smudging, but that might have been a temporary artifact as a result of switching drums. Nevertheless the printer output now is clear as a bell. Plus this drum cost a mere fraction of what I was originally paying for the Brother drums.we have yet to get this working, not sure if its us or them, while its generic for a whole range of brother printers, we will buy a premium vs directly for our mfc unit next timeDidn't work with 3rd party compatible toner, only worked with Brother brand toner. Now I have a useless drum or I'll have to shell out a bunch of money for OEM toner to work with this drumInstalled with third party toner (TN-560) on my Brother MFC-8820D and have had no problems. Packaged well. Seems like a fine low-cost alternative to the Brother genuine article.
