In my experience, real Canon brand ink like this is the only way to go with the Pro-1 printer. It's pricey, but it works and produces beautiful prints. I tried private label inks in my Pro-1, but the results were poor and I had to waste time and paper purging the private label ink out of the feed tubes inside the printer (they hold a lot of ink!). Stick with Canon ink, like this product, to avoid hassles.
