Bought this part for a lost spindle on our DYMO Labelwriter 450 and it fits perfect. The printer works significantly better with this part. Should be noted this is a 3D printed replacement and not an OEM part. The part prints feel solid and I did not notice any structural weaknesses in the material print itself. The shipped part came in three pieces. One spindle and the two side walls. I was expecting a threaded situation where the walls screw onto the spindle, but instead the walls 'push' onto the spindle tabs that snap and lock on grooves in the spindle. I am sure this is cheaper to manufacture, but it feels like the tabs are going to snap during assembly as you push them onto the spindle. At first I was wondering if I was assembling it correctly because it felt like I might break the parts. Also during first assembly I put the wall pieces on backwards, and had to pull them back off to put them on the right way.My unit seems to be built well and the tabs did not snap. A bit questionable design from a consumer perspective. I would advise adding some very basic instructions showing the proper assembly. This would relieve confusion, give customer confidence in assembly, and perhaps verbiage could be used to indicate the construction quality so the customer doesn't worry about part damage.
