Description

Gizmo Dorks blue painter's tape is the go-to and cost effective way of covering your 3D printer bed plate. Plastic filament such as ABS or PLA stick well to this tape while also being forgiving enough to let go when your print is finished. The tape is easy to apply and remove, with strong adhesion. The tape is 6.25 inches wide, so you don't have to worry about stringing small 1 inch wide tapes together to form zig-zag rows. For most printer beds, you'll only need one piece of tape. The roll is 100' long and 6.25" wide, so one roll will last through plenty of your prints.

Features

    Dimensions 100 feet x 6.25 inches

Plastic filament adheres well but prints come off cleanly

Easy to reapply and remove tape

No lines on print bottoms from multiple pieces of tape

Similar to the tape that comes with Makerbot printers

I acquired a roll of this stuff to replace the original masking tape that was included with my XYZ Da Vinci Mini 3D printer. An EXACT replacement for that original tape is impossible to get - as far as I have found, anyway. This stuff has been working great. If you take your time when applying, it will go down easily and cleanly, with no bubbles or wrinkles. I will then add just a bit of glue stick to the surface and WHAM! My prints stick BEAUTIFULLY to it.It works even better than the fancy-schmancy Kapton tape that I tried. In fact, it works so well that when prying my prints off of the bed, the tape lifts off of the metal bed with the print (maybe use less glue?) and I then replace it for the next print (it comes off of the bed also very easily and cleanly). At 100 feet long, that's... uh... 190-ish prints per roll, at (if my math is correct) about sixteen cents per print.YAY.Get it. You know you want to. And you will be happy.Edited to add photo of a BEAutiful installation. I love this stuff.
