Order them all the time for our business.Exactly as describedI ran these on my Xerox 550 Laser printer and one of them came off and stuck to the finisher and we couldn't find the problem so had to have tech come in.....big problem....lots of cost to get it fixed. Looked good, but will not use them again...sorry!!!These labels are perfect for printing on a laser printer (no smudging at all) and for sticking on envelopes. They're a good size for regular size envelopes or Thank You cards, and are very easy to print on. Microsoft Word has a template already built-in for addressing, and they're easy to peel and stick.Although they are clear labels, they are not invisible, so you can tell there is a label there, and sometimes behind the label looks a touch darker than the plain envelope.I was very impressed how nice it came out, even when printing in black ink on a laser printer that feeds through the machine in a loop - they didn't melt or mush in the printer at all. I'll likely be using these to address my wedding thank you cards as well as Christmas cards until I run out of them. I debated using them for the wedding invitations themselves, but because of the slight discoloration, I think I'm going to print directly on the envelopes for those instead. They're perfect for less-formal addressing, though, and very convenient. These used to be great labels but not the paper they are put on is so thin, one page tore when I was trying to slide it out of the box! I tried the labels in 3 different printers and they jammed up and ripped. The grip strip that was added to the top an bottom of each page should have been added to the edges too, because the roller would grip the strips and start to roll through, but the thin paper in the middle would just tear because it would not lay flat, the page would just keep bending and curling vertically down the center. Now I am stuck with 500 labels I cannot use. I tried layering them in the paper tray to give them more weight, but the roller would only pick up the top layer and the backing paper would tear again.I saw the negative review about them smudging when printed with an inkjet. I totally understand that could be frustrating. HOWEVER, I love these labels. I am indie designer who actually silkscreens these by hand with my own designs, which I put on my products. Acrylic silkscreen ink grips the surface nicely and does not scratch off. I make my own messages for products and airmail stickers for my international orders...They also work great with a laser printers, but I prefer using bright silkscreen inks, including shimmer colors like gold. While the new 'easy peel' function does make it easier to peel them off, if you work in an environment with a lot of dust, I only recommend removing that easy peel strip the moment before applying them to your objects...I have a lot of daily dust/lint from my apparel products, despite my top air filter in the room and my daily cleaning, and if I peel the strip and leave the sheets out, the dust/lint fibers sticks to the edge of the labels and makes them look dirty once applied to any white object...not classy...I try to keep them in their box to keep them clean. The main negative is the price. In the big online auction marketplace (you know which), the price is sometimes as low as $17 + shipping, but in stores they're $50. That's just too much for what I consider to be stickers...UPDATE AS OF 2/2012: I've stopped using these labels...I now buy and laser print stickers that look more professional....I do love these labels and they serve my purpose well (labeling ingredients in body products). Be aware that oils will remove any printing from the label. The labels are sold as clear, but they are actually opaque. The have a matt like finish, so whatever is under them will be somewhat blurry and obscured. This probably would not be detrimental to most peoples' applications, but I would have liked to have known that the shape of the label would be very obvious due to the opacity of the sticker. These labels did the trick! Printed nicely from printer, great size and came on time. My only complaint is that the labels are pretty flimsy.fast shipping, exactly as described.
